hi.

hey, so this is gonna be my last post. the new ajk will take over from now. =). feel free to ask me for any advice or help.

CSS had a trip to St. Jerome's orphanage during July i think? kudos to those who planned all the events leading up to the trip, from the fundraiser to the trip itself planned by the various committees. =)
nyways, the teachers of CHS helped out in a big way, from donating all sorts of things such as books, stationery, some clothes etc. they also donated some money.
St. Jerome's orphanage was in need of a rice cooker and blender. therefore, CSS bought a new blender and rice cooker for St. Jerome's orphanage. CSS also bought 3 bags of rice and 2 bottles of oil and 12 boxes of toothpaste for the orphanage, not to mention the sign designed by Athalia which now hangs at St. Jerome's Orphanage.

(owner of St. Jerome's with some of the orphans and the maid)
Thank you to everybody who helped out in any way, from collecting the donations, to the spending time with the orphans to the willingness to help those who are less fortunate than us. thanks. =)

=)

well, the term for the ajk of 08/09 for csschspj is almost coming to an end. i'm very proud of the hardwork and teamwork that everybody put into the four major projects that were held this year.

our next meeting will be after exams, probably on the 26/6/09.
please note that our agm meeting will be held on the 10th of july. so the next few meetings, 26/6/09, 3/7/09 and 10/7/09 is compulsory attendance for all css members. if you don't come for the next 3 meetings, especially the agm, even though you had attended meetings throught the year, you will not be given gerko marks. sorry, but it is stated in the guideline for gerko marks.

the t-shirt is still on sale. members, compulsory, must buy! =p. RM30 a shirt, XL size is already sold out. limited stocks available only. so hurry up buy! please bring money to pay also. thanks.
those who have taken a shirt but haven paid me pls pay me.

anyway, good luck in your exams and i hope to see you at the next meeting!

CHS Founder's Day Mass

CHS Founder's Day Mass was held on Friday, the 22nd of May, to a resounding success.

A big thanks to everyone who was involved in making the mass happen, especially Sean Beh for his effort and organisation. Also not forgetting others like Adrian, Michelle, Athalia, Audrey, Joanna, Louise, Mathieu, Andrew, Joshua and the rest of the mass gang.

Also, to anyone else reading this, on behalf of the Catholic Students Society of Catholic High School, I would like to extend our gratitude to:
  1. Father Simon Yong
  2. The Marist brothers
  3. The teachers for their support
  4. Most important of all, to all the Catholic and non-Catholic people who turned up for the mass
Thank you all, and God Bless!
